Practice Philosophy:

Working on clients is like solving a mystery.  Each person has been through various events, injuries, and trauma which have shaped their body and provided the chronic aches and pains which make up the fabric of their lives.  My mission is to help them heal via massage so that they can live with less chronic pain and be more fully present.  I absolutely love working on people who have never had a massage, to see them after their first session is an amazing and humbling feeling.

Why I do what I do:

I was originally introduced to holistic bodywork via Reiki.  In 2008, I decided to leave Big Pharma to pursue a life that was more in alignment with compassion, love, and healing.  I was working with a life coach at that time and via a series of tests, we narrowed it down to becoming a Massage Therapist.  My school was amazing because it taught both Eastern and Western theories and modalities which is very important because the Mind, Body, and Soul all work together.  By having this dual foundation, I am able to help my clients with Reiki as well as the "medical" massage techniques.

Over the years, I have worked with a wide variety of individuals from the athletes to the geriatric population, people who have had knee/hip replacements, spine fusions, undergoing oncology treatments, strokes, and even hospice clients.  I have been continually amazed at how massage has offered every single person relief in some way.  Every year that I practice, I am even more grateful that I get to do this work and I am humbled by the power of touch therapy.
